Meet the Women
Kelly Weiss is the IT Innovation and Implementation Manager at the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Kelly has more than 10 years experience in IT project management, change management, web services, and data solutions.
Prior to joining the Archdiocese, Kelly served as the Web Production Manager for Chicago Public Schools, managing the Web Services team and leading major projects and initiatives across the organization.
Kelly earned her BA in English and Hispanic Language and Literature from Boston University, her MA in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, is a certified project manager (PMP), and received her certification in nonprofit management from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management
Kelly also authored the science fiction novel, The Cube, available on Amazon and wherever books are sold. She is a proud member of the Chicago Writers Association.
Margaret is the Senior Director of Technology Change Management on the Information Technology team for a large healthcare organization. Think of her role as the “people-side” of IT, focusing on communications, learning, advertising/marketing, and organizational change. Margaret has a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies, with a focus on social psychology & philosophy, a second bachelor’s in Visual Communications: Graphic Design, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. She is also a Prosci certified Change Leader and has a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Northwestern University. She recently completed an Executive Development Program with a fortune five healthcare company.
Prior to joining her current organization, she was the program chair for General Education at a small design college in Chicago, taught design, professional development, and general education college courses for about eight years, and was the director of Technology Change Management at Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the US. Margaret is a change agent, step-mom, partner, friend, and a Chicago resident. She thinks a lot about how to solve problems, how to do things differently, organizational transformation, technology, communication, tools, collaboration, democracy, and helping people to be at their best. When she isn’t at work, she loves to spend time in the kitchen with her fiancé laughing, solving problems, and cooking delicious food for their family.
Yentl is a licensed Illinois Realtor with Exit Strategy Realty and the owner of Supreme Dream Realty. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she worked for the Chicago Public Schools starting as an Information Technology Analyst and promoted to Web Program Coordinator.
Transitioning from one industry to another, Yentl noticed a growing pain in the real estate market. From that problem she plans to build an innovative technology solution to close that gap between realtors and potential property owners.
Yentl earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Eastern Illinois University.
Yentl loves to travel, try new restaurants with her family, read, and attend self-development seminars and conferences.
Lorena Mora is a Technical Specialist for the Partner Ecosystem Strategy team at Microsoft Education. She’s on a mission to empower every education customer at scale through our strategic partners, by building and enhancing Microsoft Modern Workplace and classroom collaboration services in the United States.
She is a professional geek, always inquisitive and learning about the “next big thing.” Her interests span across all technology stacks including security & compliance, data & AI, quantum and cloud computing technologies, and more.
With her prior experience as an IT leader in the education industry, Lorena understands the complexities involved in managing technology solutions within nonprofit & government institutions. She provides consultation to partners nationwide on service excellence by empowering partners to understand the customer’s mission, becoming their trusted advisor, and enabling transformative classroom experiences and student outcomes.
Lorena previously worked for Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the US and last served as the Manager of Enterprise Architecture for the district’s technology department. She served on the technology senior leadership board and supported the development of the district’s IT strategy, enterprise architecture practice, and was responsible for the technology asset management landscape of over 300,000 devices, serving 600 schools, 360,000 students, 31,000 employees in the district.
Lorena holds a BS in Information Technology and Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago.
In her spare time, she loves to cook and travel, spend time with friends and family, and is a dog mom to 3 beautiful pups.
